Mexican Miracle Trio Gold

Description

Characteristic of Mexican religious art, these ex-votos (also called milagros) are used either independently or as decorations for more elaborate pieces to make a wish or to thank for a wish granted. These ex-votos are made of zamac (a mixture of zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper) melted and cast in a mold made by hand. Very widespread in Mexico and Latin America, it is very difficult to find artisan manufacturers who jealously preserve their methods and are located in remote areas of Mexico. Thanks to the artisanal work, each piece is unique and different.
