Conquistador hand ex-voto

Description

Finely crafted by hand, this ex-voto is inspired by armor gloves and the outfits of Spanish conquerors. He is struck by a heart and holds a second between his fingers.
Entirely in brass with a thickness of 0.3mm, this heart is cut and then embossed by hand by the artisan manufacturer.

The creativity and imagination of the artisans who handcraft these objects offer a very vast universe of shapes and colors varying according to the creators. In this case: religious art imported by the Spanish conquest.

The gold color recalls the know-how of working this metal by the original Mayan populations but also the precious metal which was the compelling reason for the conquest of the Americas,
