White carved heart

Description

Pretty wooden ex-voto heart, model with flame. The design is inspired by the Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart) and other folk art from Mexico.
Each heart is hand carved in one piece and painted red and orange.
Very popular in Guatemala, we find these ex-voto hearts hung on the walls of houses, churches, businesses also as a good luck charm and protection of homes.
The artisan puts into the manufacture of this entirely handmade ex-voto heart all the faith and devotion he feels for religious representations moved outside of churches.
Thanks to the craftsmanship, each piece is unique.
