Description
Pierrot — The Masked Clown of the Ring
Pierrot is a recurring character in Mexican lucha libre, inspired by the commedia dell’arte clown. A member of the Guerreros del Infierno in CMLL, he stands out with his unique aesthetic blending a wrestling mask with a white clown face. His striking design makes it one of the most recognizable masks in contemporary lucha libre.
Lucha libre is a living tradition of Mexico, born in the 1930s and inseparable from its legendary arenas: Arena México in Mexico City, the cathedral of Mexican wrestling inaugurated in 1956, Arena Coliseo, and Arena Puebla. Every Friday night, thousands of spectators gather to watch masked técnicos and rudos clash in spectacular bouts. This Mexican wrestling mask Pierrot is part of our collection of Mexican wrestling masks, handmade in Mexico.
