Ex-voto Conquistador Hand – Silver

Description

Finely crafted by hand, this ex-voto is inspired by armor gloves and the outfits of Spanish conquerors. He is struck by a heart and holds a second between his fingers. Entirely made of natural metal with a thickness of 0.3mm, this heart is cut and then embossed by hand by the artisan manufacturer. It is a perfect example of the centuries-old tradition of metalworking in Mexico, which was enriched by models and forms of religious art imported by the Spanish conquest. Natural color is the original color of the Mexican votive offering tradition, which has since evolved into the richly colored designs we are also familiar with.
