In 22 years of work, Ana has created a very close relationship with them, some have even become friends whom we always enjoy meeting during trips to the countries of origin of the products.
Ana Carrillo’s in-depth knowledge of their constraints and manufacturing methods has allowed her to develop with them a whole range of products at the crossroads of local traditions and her personal tastes inspired by her own life path, between Guatemala and the France. This is how many seemingly traditional local products are, in fact, revisited in shapes, proportions or even chromatics.
But popular culture is a living culture, so Tienda Esquipulas also forms partnerships with creators whose talent it appreciates and who are capable of understanding and transcribing the very particular universe of native Latin American cultures. We are very proud of these partnerships which give birth to objects that all have in common the soul of Latin American culture and if all of them are women it is no coincidence!
