WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 22 (2006) and Royal Rumble winner, he popularized lucha libre internationally more than anyone. His signature move, the 619, became iconic. The smallest world champion in WWE history, he proved that technique and agility could triumph over power.

Lucha libre is a living tradition of Mexico, born in the 1930s and inseparable from its legendary arenas: Arena México in Mexico City, the cathedral of Mexican wrestling inaugurated in 1956, Arena Coliseo, and Arena Puebla. Every Friday night, thousands of spectators gather to watch masked técnicos and rudos clash in spectacular bouts.
