This embroidered patch reproduces the mask of Místico, one of the most spectacular luchadors of the modern era. Revealed at CMLL in the 2000s, he filled the Arena México week after week thanks to his breathtaking aerial style. His white and gold mask, adorned with solar motifs, became a symbol of the new generation of lucha libre. A técnico beloved by the audience, he rekindled the passion of Mexican arenas as few had before him.

Lucha libre is a living tradition of Mexico, born in the 1930s and inseparable from its mythical arenas : the Arena México in Mexico City, cathedral of Mexican wrestling inaugurated in 1956, the Arena Coliseo and the Arena Puebla. Every Friday night, thousands of spectators flock to see masked técnicos and rudos face off in spectacular matches. This Místico Mexican wrestling patch is part of our collector’s collection around lucha libre, handcrafted in Mexico.
