Description

These ex-votos are used as an offering to ask for grace or in thanks as well as for protection.

Silver-colored ex-voto made of zamac (mixture of zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper) melted and poured into a hand-made mold.

These ex-votos are very widespread in Mexico and Latin America, it is very difficult to find artisan manufacturers who jealously preserve their methods and are located in remote areas of Mexico.
